Canterbury Festival 2022

Barton Court was very pleased to be invited to take part in two inaugural events for this year’s Canterbury Festival.

On 15 October, students took part in the Beautiful Noise community project, which saw musical acts perform in a variety of locations around the City. Students in Y9 and Y13 took part, showcasing both jazz, popular and classical talents.

On 17 October, 60 students took part in the first schools' concert at Westgate Hall. This was very well attended and the students (from Y7-Y13) really enjoyed sharing their performances with a wider audience. We were also pleased that some students from Barton Manor also joined us, as part of the whole School Choir”
